About Philippe Starck- He is a French designer known since the start of his career in the 1980s for his interior, product, industrial and architectural design including furniture.
About Juicy Selif (Lemon Squeezer)- Juicy Selif is a fruit squeezer or juicer designed by Philippe Starck in 1990. It is considered a collectable and icon of industrial design. It is manufactured by Italian kitchenware company Alessi. Innovative and looking 'futuristic', the lemon squeezer is a fine example of Alessi's products designed by 'star'designers. It is an impracticable design for fruit squeezing, however it is featured at the MOMA at New York, this is testament to its classic status.
